Abraham House organizes a fundraiser | Daily Sentinel of Rome
The Abraham House will hold its first Winter Festival Fire & Ice fundraiser from 5-9pm on Saturday February 26 at 12 North Sports Bar, 10125 Mulaney Road, Marcy.
All proceeds from the event will benefit Maison Abraham and its mission to provide services to those affected by terminal illness, at no cost to the guest or their family.
This winter festival for ages 21 and over will offer indoor and outdoor activities.
Guests can enjoy the open bar, local cuisine, live entertainment, games, such as beer pong, corn hole and ax throwing.
Outside, an ice bar with bourbon tastings, a cigar tent, fire pits, S’mores, and more. Snowmobilers are welcome.

Abraham House benefits from donations and grants received through community fundraising events like Fire & Ice. The funding generated this year will greatly assist Maison Abraham in continuing to expand its services in both Utica and Rome.

Maison Abraham, a welcoming home for the terminally ill, is a comfort care service with homes based in both Utica and Rome.
The organization provides clients with a safe and loving home at no cost, while providing physical, emotional and spiritual support.
Their surrogate caregivers have both the training and the compassion to provide loving care,
quality end-of-life care. Services are provided 24 hours a day and free of charge. Maison Abraham relies solely on community support and donations to maintain and run its homes.
