Inside Matthew Stafford’s stunning $20 million high-tech home
It’s been a hell of a year for Matthew Stafford – and now he’s got the house to match.
Not only was the quarterback traded from the Detroit Lions to the Los Angeles Rams — ending up in the 2022 Super Bowl — but he shelled out nearly $20 million for a modern high-tech estate.
Stafford, who turned 34 last week, bought the house – located in the upscale Hidden Hills neighborhood in the San Fernando Valley – with his wife, Kelly, in May, just six weeks after he was transferred to the team Californian.
The 15,000 square foot home was purchased while it was still under construction.
Comprised of six bedrooms and nine bathrooms, the home also includes an additional 3,000 square feet of covered patio and garage space, noted 64North, the architectural firm behind the home.
And it’s fully equipped with every amenity imaginable, including a commercial theater, expansive gym, massage room with a steam shower, stone and marble-built spa, two temperature-controlled wine rooms and a separate guest house.
Photos show the modern marvel with floor-to-ceiling windows and contemporary architectural touches.

The six-car garage is designed with a high ceiling to accommodate car lifts.
Considered the “Residence of the Seven Summits”, due to its peaks and the house perched on a ridge line, the property offers views of the canyon. It also has a two-story floor-to-ceiling glass entrance with a view of the great room at the back of the pool.
Other features include a large central gallery, indoor and outdoor lounge areas, a bar, as well as an outdoor kitchen and sheltered poolside terrace, 64North describes.
At the center of the estate is a large spiral staircase overlooking a courtyard with a linear body of water and a 50-year-old olive tree.
It also houses one of the best located bathtubs you have ever seen.

Set on two acres of land, it also includes a library, shaded pergola, basketball court, and various other fruit trees.
Other notable owners in the neighborhood include Dwyane Wade and Gabrielle Union, Lil Wayne, NBA star DeMar DeRozan and Kylie Jenner.
Stafford, who has an estimated net worth of $81 million, is scheduled to play against the Cincinnati Bengals on Sunday for Super Bowl LVI.
